On April 23, 2024, the Board of Education took prior action related to the Dransfeldt property, including the approval of a resolution declaring the property surplus, approval of a resolution waiving the bid requirements that the school property be disposed of by sealed bid or by public auction, and approval of the Exclusive Right-To-Sell Listing contract which authorizes CBRE as the real estate agent for the District regarding the sale of the property.
These actions were approved on the condition that the District purchases 10235 Parkglenn Way in Parker to house the Parker Bridge and Child Find programs which were located in substandard facilities on the Dransfeldt property. On March 26, 2024, the Board of Education approved the Purchase and Sale Agreement for 10235 Parkglenn Way, and the District closed on the agreement and took title to the property on Jun 27, 2024.
On November 1, 2024, the District signed a non-binding Letter of Intent with the terms and conditions for an agreement to sell the Dransfeldt property. CBRE has facilitated the completion of a Real Estate Contract to sell 11722 Dransfeldt Road to Crash Champions, LLC, for $1,750,000. District staff is recommending the Board of Education approve this agreement.
